A Hollywood Republican

This blog is for an open discussion on politics. My views will be to the right as will be most of the posters. But, we are willing to post alternative viewpoints as lons as they are well thought out. I started this in response to the Obama election and will continue it as long as it feeds a need.

The Kennedy Legacy Ends

As you all know, I am in Thailand prepping a movie.  However, my joy is overflowing right now.  We have begun to take back our country.  The Senate seat held by Ted Kennedy for longer than a lot of people have been alive is now in the hands of a Republican.  Goodbye super-majority in the Senate to the Democrats.  Goodbye to Ted and the rest of the Kennedy clan.  May their legacy rest in peace and may they finally be out of our lives.

Long live the United States of America.

I'm in NH, Frank and its euphoric here!!! Myself and my friends did as much as we could to get him elected. We thought it was important for our state and at the end realized how important it was for the nation.
What a historic day- the second shot "heard round the world".

Intel Chief: National Security XMAS bomber Mishandled. Leiter/NCC, Blair/NI, Muller/FBI and Napolitano/HS displayed aloofness, a danger of political correctness, ignorance and even arrogance in their handling of the Xmas bomber. Monday, June 1, 2009, “An Arkansas man was arrested in connection with a shooting at a Little Rock military recruiting center that killed one soldier and wounded another.” We know the terrorist’s name. Do we know or even remember the soldier’s name? On November 5, 2009, at Foot Hood, Texas, Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army Major jihadist, killed 13 and wounded 32. Do we know the name of that woman who stopped this carnage? On 12/25/09 a Dutch tourist jumped over several seats to subdue a terrorist, Farouk Abdulmutallab on Northwest Flight 253 preventing the detonation of a weapon of mass destruction, Does anyone know that hero’s name? Is performance the criteria for leadership?

NBC on 01/07/2010 floated the balloon that there was a conspiracy within the intelligence community to allow the Christmas bomber (miracle misfire) fiasco in order to embarrass the President. This was so absurd it had to be walked back immediately within the next hour at the reported direction of the White House, due to overwhelming negative response. Regardless, this lie has legs.

Remember the Christians in the catacombs? Where are the warriors of the Holy Crusade? The “Tea Party” was not a strategy of the Republican Party. It was America’s answer to a faltering, misguide and lethargic, forgotten and squandered greatness of the past. Put down the “moderate” olive branch until a defeated opposition “begs” for peace. Accept surrender, not an armistice.

There is a moral equivalency between the indoctrinated angry poor and the affluent, selfish ethically rudderless idealists looking for the meaning of life. Religion of faith or politics is the opium of some people. It is also, in the extreme, corrupted and abused. The filth running through the sewers of the Internet have patrons on both the left and the right. Conservatism must be eternally on guard against attack from within.

Congressional majorities and the blame for a bad economy is the reality that puts unquestionable political power in the camps of the progressives. Conservatives have a nagging fear that we will not survive. This fear is by far the more powerful motivator. The barbarians are at the gates.

Progressivism, patriotism, liberalism, socialism, fascism, and conservatism, all of those “isms” can not simply be a mask for American strength, weakness or decay. The future of America as a super power is at risk. Study the past blogs and the beginning of a meaningful engagement of academia. Progressives have penetrated the kindergartens, the elementary schools, the universities, the unions, the arts, the press, the courts, the legal guilds, books and movies. The opposition is audacious, single minded and committed. They are just wrong. It was President Eisenhower who warned of the evils of the great “Alinskyism” (sic) academic complex.

For some The Prince was written by Machiavelli for the retention of power. The Rules for Radicals is a manifesto for the redistribution of wealth and power. Remember “the ends justify almost any means….(and) pick the target, free it, personalize it, polarize it.” They come to the table with a knife, you bring a gun. That is Chicago politics.

There is applause for the intellectual “OK Corral” shoot-out from Folsom. When a liberal is hooked into speaking honestly and passionately, they open the door to “their” truth for all to analyze.

The George Orwell verse is appropriate as it shatters the shallow academic rhetoric of vacuous bureaucratic verbiage in a crisis. “That we sleep safely in our beds at night because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would harm us.” And some would sputter, quake and fume with outrageous passion that this sentiment is partisan.

Are we so pompous in our words and passive in our actions? Maybe not says New Jersey, Virginia and Massachusetts.
