A Hollywood Republican

This blog is for an open discussion on politics. My views will be to the right as will be most of the posters. But, we are willing to post alternative viewpoints as lons as they are well thought out. I started this in response to the Obama election and will continue it as long as it feeds a need.

Vote Them Out

Let me start this article by repeating something I have been saying for 18 months now. Whether you like it or not, we lost the election. We have a democratically elected President and Congress that are very liberal. We must live with them until November or beyond. They are in power. They can do whatever they want until they are voted out. And, that should be our goal: To vote them out before they do irreparable damage to the country and our freedoms. And, before they succeed in destroying what is left of the Constitution.

Frankly, I am getting sick and tired of all the whining about what the Progressive Liberals are doing. I do not care about Obama’s birth certificate. He is President and baring someone proving he is ineligible to hold that office, he will remain our President. I do not care about his Progressive Agenda. I do not care about the behavior of his cabinet or the behavior of Congress. They are in power. We can only do one thing: Vote them out in November.

The only thing I would like to see investigated more are the allegations made by Congressman Sestak in Pennsylvania in which he said he was offered a position by the Obama Administration to get out of the race against Arlen Spector. Attorney General Eric Holder should hire a special investigator immediately in this regard. This is a story that should not go away and if proven could be an actual impeachable offense if the President was behind it.

So, our goal should be to “Vote Them Out.” In the next six months we should do whatever we can to “Vote Them Out.” We should take all of the energy that is going into complaining about the Democrats, Progressives, Lefties or whatever you want to call them, and put that same energy into voting them out.

And, let me continue by saying, “the process of getting rid of them has started.” That should make us enthusiastic and get our collective energies flowing. On Saturday, we won a special election in Hawaii that puts a Republican into President Obama’s home seat for the first time in decades. Of course, the Democrats will argue that they also won a Special Election last week. They managed a win Pennsylvania 12. However, this is far from an upset as Pennsylvania 12 is registered almost 2-1 Democrat. The fact that the race was close at all is a good sign for the Republican Party.

Last Tuesday, we got rid of the traitor Arlen Spector whom I mentioned earlier. He is no longer running for reelection as he lost his primary to Congressman Sestak. If current polls mean anything (which they may or may not), we should be able to put that Senate seat into the Republican column in November. The Republican nominee is currently polling ahead.

A true conservative, Rand Paul won his primary in Kentucky last Tuesday defeating the Republican establishment candidate. Before Mr. Paul committed a major flub on Friday, he was over 20% ahead in all polls to take the Senate seat. The flub which may come back to haunt him in November has been adequately explained away. But, it still may be costly. Thus far, no polls have been released since his stupid comment about the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Is Mr. Paul, the future of the Republican Party or just an anomaly of the Tea Party movement? We do know he is more of a Libertarian than a Republican. Is that where our party is going?

Attorney General Blumenthal of Connecticut who is running for Senate has been caught “misspeaking.” Or, should I say what it really truly was, an out and out lie. Yesterday, he finally apologized to the real Vietnam vets. Apparently, the apple does not fall too far from the tree in Connecticut. One liar, Chris Dodd, is retiring and should be in jail; another liar is trying to gain Dodd’s Senate seat. I say, the Republican National Committee should make an all out play for this seat in Connecticut. Picking this one up should not be an issue.

A similar situation is going on in Nevada. Apparently, our good friend Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is very vulnerable. In fact, most Nevadans look upon him unfavorably. Recent polling has shown that he loses to almost anyone running against him. Again, RNC, this is one to put money behind.

I could go on and on about the good news, but I don’t want to. What I really want to talk about is what we need to do in order to “Vote Them Out!”

And, for once Michael Steele, are you listening? Stop trying to be PC and start talking about really what is going on in this country. The current Democratic Administration is spending our country into bankruptcy. In the process, they are creating a socialist country and destroying what is left of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. There is a tremendous amount of anger out there and it should be channeled for the next five months into ending their majority rule in Congress.

The Tea Party is just a small sign of the anger. The anger is festering in the Reagan Democrats whose jobs are disappearing and whose 401K’s are disappearing and whose home values are floundering. Just this morning a statistic came out that showed housing prices dropped last month another .5%. Do you think it is any coincidence that this happened after another entitlement program, the $8,000 tax credit for buying a home, ran out at the end of April? Of course, not. Prices of homes were being jacked up falsely again by a bubble with no air. Look for housing prices to drop in the next few months without the government handout.

The Anger is festering in our Senior Citizen population. What are you doing to get their votes Mr. Steele? They are also seeing their savings depleted in the current economy. They are afraid that the new health care bill will put the final nail in the coffin of Medicare. They are afraid that Social Security will collapse when the out-of-control spending comes home to roost.

The legal immigrants are angry that the current administration is doing nothing to control the flood of illegal immigrants. They are angry because they know why: Mr. Obama, Mr. Reid and Ms. Pelosi are going to do nothing to hurt a potential voting block in November. Do not be afraid to say it Mr. Steele. Tell the Hispanics what is really going on. Tell them that once these Liberals get re-elected, they are going to come down on illegals.

The country is definitely at a cross-road. Now, is our chance to get out country back. But, it is not going to be easy. We are going to have to use every one of these crises in order to do it. We are going to have to steal from the playbook of Rahm Emmanuel. After all, isn’t he the one who said, “Never let a crisis go to waste?” Let us stop being whimps and do whatever we have to do. Our country needs us. We must make sure we “Vote Them Out.” Tomorrow is not the time. Now, is the time.

Thank you for listening to this angry rant.

By the way, a song I wrote for the movie “Prince and Me 4” has just been released as a single. If you want to buy it, it is called “Someone I Can Love” and you can find it at:

Frank:
I enjoyed reading your self-described "angry rant". You did a good job of summing up so many of the frustrations most of us feel today. That said, I have a different take on your premise in the second paragraph. I DO CARE about the progressive agenda unfolding right now. I tell everyone I know about it, not for the sake of complaining, but for the purpose of educating. Just last night, I was at a restaurant helping celebrate the birthday of a friend where I met a second grade schoolteacher. We talked about my oldest son's graduation from Boston University Law and how disappointing it was to have Erik Holder as the keynote speaker. She asked me "Who's Erik Holder?". Frankly, you and I and people who take the time to read this blog are very informed regarding the damage being done to this country, but there are still too many people who have only a superficial understanding of what's at stake. We need to keep beating that drum for the singular purpose you expressed in this article - Vote Them Out in November!

Part 1

The demons are politicians for whom we celebrate “Vote them out.” And the soul is the American spirit under attack on many fronts. We are in a fight.

“Destroy our faith, our founders and our constitution. You cannot build a socialist country without being secular.” “Vote them out.”

Finally, someone who does rant, get angry and show some passion. Beware; you will be branded a racist, homophobic, angry and mad. Even worse your compatriots may even brand you as a Tea Party nut. There was a former blog that did exactly that with a proven invalid, dishonest, disingenuous attack on demonstrating activists who were smeared unjustly, intolerable, and unconscionably just for egocentric cover. There is something about the truth that bothers people.

In mid September 2010 President Obama’s decision to dramatically revise a long-standing United States plan for a missal-defense system hit Central Europe like another bombshell. Here was the removal of the proactive, preemptive, and a defense against war. “Vote them out.”

There was the torpedoing of the South Korean vessel, an event documented with evidence as perpetrated by North Korea, which killed forty-six sailors and sunk the ship. America is viewed as weak. When the US must diminish its military strength as the appeasement for the “force” of global diplomacy, it has neither understood the preeminent wisdom of walking softly and carrying a big stick nor envisioned the true and grand noble nature of America as envisioned by the Statue of Liberty. Ah, yes, vote them out.

There were words of wisdom at the funeral of that wonderful little lady, Alyana Jones, cut down in her prime by a horrible incident. “I’d rather tell you to start looking at the man in the mirror. We’ve all done something that contributed to this”. Ah, yes, vote them out.

Embrace legitimate incidents of racism, homophobia and sexism, again and again and again ad infinitum but don’t lose the opportunity to graduate to that soul exposing experience of looking in the “mirror.” Absolutely none of these issues will ever get a fair shake in the likes of Russia, Iran, North Korea, China and Venezuela. So argue if you will, and magnificently so, for they are the easy elixir of distracting repentance. But as you do, but occasionally step back and ask yourself is this the proper priority at this moment, and are we being distracted purposefully, as our unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are being effectively and efficiently eroded? Some charlatans love the confusion offered up by using interchangeable “inalienable” (God given…not contingent on any human legislative of human artifice) and “unalienable” (moral rights..”morals being standards by which we live, always influx”) rights. There are those who change the semantics of rigid definitions when the logic of truth and fact causes rational, cogent, and lucid intellectual difficulties. Political Correctness is the poster child of this movement, progressivism. They do so believe that “that which discredits a man discredits his argument.” Ah, yes, vote them out

Part 2

George Bernard Shaw, a eugenic foot soldier, sought a painless elixir to exterminate the unwanted and unproductive. Margaret Sanger was a proponent of negative eugenics and keeping our borders closed to the entrance of “certain” immigrants. Hillary Clinton compared Margaret Sanger to Thomas Jefferson. Anyone remember Nazi eugenics? And until it was debunked as an embarrassment, eugenics was a staple at many of our most prestigious institutions of higher learning. Yes, eugenics. At one time, it was, and in private may still be, embraced and supported by elitists. Does Hillary hold this view? Eugenics and the Holocaust are related? Few if any understand the words “If I am not for me who will be. If not now when. But if I am only for myself what am I.” Why, because progressivism is again on the march. Ah, yes, vote them out.

It is reported that Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s Minister of propaganda, as extracted from his personal diary, learned some of his major propaganda techniques, modeled after none other than Woodrow Wilson ideologies. It is too late, and unnecessary, to vote him out.

Who is and where are the icons of our current political culture. And he was the Lion of the senate. The Soviet archives reveal Kennedy’s offer of support to help the Soviet Union defeat Reagan’s efforts to build up the nuclear deterrent in Europe. He never championed the cause of the victims of Priest pedophiles (a scourge, a virus gone viral, that first erupted in his Boston before going global). He was a man who requested the assistance of the KGB to establish a relationship between America’s sworn enemy and a firm owned by former Senator John Tunney. Kennedy promised to speak out against President Carter in the famous KGB archives of Vasiliy Mitrokhin. There was his attempt to undermine President Ronald Reagan with the Soviets. There was the Catholic Church’s annulment of his first marriage so sensitive, was there a reversal? As with racism, homophobia and sexism, it is at these times that the undocumented, unsupportable accusations wrecked havoc, this was the ten year struggle of Rauch Kennedy as she was accused of being vindictive, angry ex-wife, an alcohol bigot and an idiot. ‘The lie is half way around the world before the truth gets its boots on.” There was the waste, fraud, corruption and abuse of the Boston “Big Dig.” There was Kennedy’s elitist status on display at his dishonor of cheating and re-instatement at Harvard. Then there was the Mary Jo Koepeckne homicide. A moment of silence, please. But in all honesty we had our Richard Nixon. There are better profiles in courage! Our enemies are also from within. Who was and where are the George Washingtons when we need them? Character does count and when it is not there, Ah, yes, vote them out.

Look at the presidential succession from Woodrow Wilson, Warren G Harding, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, and Franklin D Roosevelt. Our memories are collectively selectively, obscured to further the cause of a corrupted (was it ever pristine) progressivism.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt promised to keep American soldiers off of native soil as a promise, a pledge, a prayer for reelection while negotiating with Churchill, in secret, almost revealed by the traitor Tyler Kent, arrested by British authorities and almost forgotten in the general euphoria of the allied military victory. Ah, yes, vote for a two term limit. Vote for term limits, period.

Hugo Chavez, the relentless warmongering rhetoric of Chavez that ended with the Venezuelan purchase of the Russian 24 Sukhoi fighter jets, Chavez who also strengthened the Venezuelan army cavalry by purchasing 92 Russian Tanks T72 and he would have recruited and trained tens of thousands of militia men to give to each one of them an AK-47the same as used by the FARC. Is this not the same Chavez mentality (Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas, Al Qaeda et al) who will purchase an atomic bomb if anyone will sell them one to be used on whom? For those who drift toward the ideologies of Chavez, Ah, yes, vote them out.

Part 3

And then there is Iran, a state sponsor of terrorism. Iranian leaders are deniers of the Holocaust. This is a State consumed with an eternal pilgrimage to wipe Israel off of the face of the earth. And they call us the great Satan. They pray for the destruction of all western influence and civilization. They pray for the return of the Twelfth Imams, Imam al-Mahdi who will reappear when the world has fallen into chaos and civil war emerges between the human race for no reason. And we bow, plead, and coalesce around global governance, even with our enemies. Our politicians have a twisted and tortured relationship with the obvious, with the truth. Ah, yes, vote them out.

The environmentalists, the “Green” people have an excellent mantra. They want to clean up the rivers, stop air pollution, scrub the sulfur pollutants out of our oil burning electricity stations, purify coal burning, and eliminate nuclear plants. Go “green” and save the world. Stop oil drilling. Why is the rest of the world drilling off our coast and sucking off our oil assets with their stilted straw drilling techniques? The efficacy of cars, trains and airplanes is not shelved due to accidents; we just get better at the “safety” thing.” And the earth may or may not have been better off, more pristine, if man did not exist. They have no real solutions. Ah, yes, vote them out.

First there was the Climate Change Bill (widely challenged on fundamental scientific facts), the Cap and Trade Bill (the Creature from the Illinois CCX Exchange) and now it is the American Energy Act and the Home Star Bill, all suspiciously positioned for “insidious control” and to “steal” wealth (under the mantra of the redistribution of wealth) from Americans. And when we walk into to those 21th century economic crematoriums; it will most certainly be too late, again. Ah, yes, vote them out.

These are the issues of paramount importance. It is the strategies to address these monumental concerns, in a reasonable, fiduciary stewardship, in the general good (not enriching just a few people or nations), this is the ray of hope, a plan to win not just the battle of a selfish few or the war of a global redistributed economy, punishment of the productive, this is where the Republicans and Conservatives are derelict, morally derelict in our duty. Remember Greece. It is yesterday, today and tomorrow. It will not just “pass”! Remember, when the US must diminish its military strength as the appeasement for the “force” of global diplomacy, it has neither. And we ponder the perfect argument to justify embracing the law that enforces legal emigration. Oh, but for the wisdom, simplicity and elegance of Rosemary. In the eye of a “perfect storm” what a perfect distraction. Ah, yes, vote them out.

In this world of intellectual haughtiness, skewed wisdom and self absorbed conceit, this caldron of a new brand of hostility, arrogance and ignorance, there must always be room for another point of view, not yours or mine. An alternative may exist that may in time show all of us to be neither right nor wrong, maybe just a “better” or not as bad an alternative.

Well, there is Occams razor, Catch 22, and a sword cuts both ways for “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” But until one can guarantee peace, beyond the promise of a Nobel Peace Prize, stop with the analysis paralysis and prepare. Avoidance is the miracle. “It didn’t happen because” can never be proven. Ah, yes, vote them out.

Ah, yes, vote them out or we surrender. So maybe we are our own worst enemy. So, those that are….

Yes, vote them out. But better yet, become what we preach, never as a nation or individual spend more than we earn, embrace shared sacrifice and pain. Learn again the message of faith, hope and charity. And defend until the last breath, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. And Ginni Thomas said “Remember in November.” And then, and again, vote them out.

Anonymous....If you are going to post such long winded comments the least you can do is leave your name. Don't get me wrong they are welcome and well thought out and presented but take credit for what you say or should we just call you the Lone Ranger.

Then what exactly is the tag anonymous for? Giving credit is a distraction. It is always the message and never the messenger. Without given credit or shooting the messenger things often get done. Call me what ever you want, but if you are encouraged, irritated or inspired to think then that this the miracle. God Bless.

This may be a teachable moment. The valuable “thread” of this very significant blog is being obscured by a trivial discussion identifying the “anonymous” commenter, an oxymoronic concept. However, it does high light the danger of Sal Lewinsky’s use of “ridicule.” One doesn’t know if this was Ms. Lone Ranger or Reverend Lone Ranger. Stay focused on the issues, message, policy or concept under scrutiny. Credit or blame is more often a distraction. Sal says, if we are losing the argument on its merits, “pick the target, freeze, personalize it and polarize it.” Then we don’t have to utilize our intellect. If you wish to withdraw the invitation for this commenter to participate in your forum, please feel free, I can guarantee the wishes will be honored.
