Thanks for another interesting blog ...Well Franky,

Thanks for another interesting blog my Republican friend. I am not going go into the old routine of blaming Bush for the mess we are in while making fun and criticizing the Democrats for trying to clean it up. I think we all have to take this issue by issue and grade Obama the same way. He took the job and he needs to do it right…especially now.
Obama came into office under the pretences that he was going to get us out of Iraq and get the economy back on track. His butt has to be biting baby moons out of his chair right now because as you stated in your blog everybody is being a bad citizen right now. North Korea is going to have to be dealt with as they don’t seem to understand the meaning of “no”. Iran is also in need of an attitude adjustment big time. And last but certainly not least Pakistan is in grave danger and the thought of nukes being dragged into caves in the desert by the Taliban must keep Obama up at night.
All in all Franky I think your concerns are just. I only wish we had thought out our attack on Iraq a bit more before going in or not going in at all. I think we could have accomplished as much by bombing them daily for a few months while keeping the option open to continue as long as needed until they got it and never introducing ground troops into the equation. Also I think we should have considered a replacement government before extracting the old one but that’s just me.
But things being as they are my real hopes stand here. I hope that the United States not only allows other countries to act on these issues but insists on their active participation. In short we have to stop being the hall monitors for the rest of the world while our economy crumbles and theirs continues to grow while we are doing their dirt work. Example, China is the one who should be concerned about North Korea. They have the power and the money to handle their own problems. Unfortunately the United States always sees these matters as a chance to score brownie points by jumping in first and being blamed for everything that happens after that. While the Country that should have been taking care of business sits back and does little or nothing.
All these issues need to be taken care of but the right people need to step up to the plate and do their own dirty work. I am so tired of The United States taking everyone’s burden time after time when if they had a percentage of the resolve we had when we made this country what it is they too could do something to be proud of instead of being as worthless as hen shit on a pump handle as usual.
It’s kind of like, beings we have the nukes and the technology we are like the guy who buys a truck. Everyone calls “HIM” when they want to move!

Bruce CarsonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4449585739874626782.post-18047793131268332472009-05-27T18:37:39.607-07:002009-05-27T18:37:39.607-07:00We are a different nation because a group of terro...We are a different nation because a group of terrorists linked to Saudi origins were then linked to Al Queada who was linked to Osama Bin Laden who was then linked to the Taliban who were also linked to Saddam Hussein who was then linked to weapons of mass destructions which was linked to interests of national security which was linked to holding detainees at Gitmo and other military locations which was linked to the war on terror which was linked to wiretapping citizens and which is now linked to Republicans (like yourself) demanding that our democratic president and his administration start flexing muscles and carry a big stick in the face of north korea and venezuela, oh yeah... and the rest of the world. But let's also remember all the men and women who sacrificed their lives in the name of patriotism. Let's support the troops. Let's bring them home and let's give them more equipment and firepower. Let's protect Israel. Let's save Pakistan. Let's subvert Chavez. Let's do preemptive strikes. Let's turn our backs on our one time business partners the Taliban. We did the same to Osama and Saddam. Let's just kill them all, right? Defining patriotism in the 21st century can only be accomplished by including the words "kill" and "destroy". So, I ask again... Let's just kill them all, right? When you got a big stick, you need to use it, right. Just ask John Holmes!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
